The idea: Kanchana’s dream is to provide rural, destitute women livelihood opportunity by getting them involved in her tailoring unit.

How it started: Kanchana is a destitute woman herself from a rural area. The plight of other women concerned her, so she decided to teach them how to tailor. She hopes that this will provide them more livelihood opportunities.

The team: The social enterprise is owned by Kanchana who has past experience generating income tailoring.
