Given some of the more complex international settings of his later works, this book feels almost austere in its New Jersey setting, but that doesn't the diminish the craft of Ludlum's ability to wind his way through twists and betrayals at every turn. I enjoyed this quick novel (by Ludlum standards) much more than I thought I would.
